Managing Member – Wallace K. Groves

Prior to Forix Advisors, Mr. Groves served as Managing Director of Underwriting for RBA Capital, a specialty finance company. He managed the credit decisions for over $1 billion in potential lending and participation arrangements.

Mr. Groves has been involved in various areas of finance including private lending, mortgage funds, residential, commercial, and industrial real estate development. His activities also covered middle-market syndications, timeshare financing, resort and hotel development, subprime automotive receivables financing, floorplan financing, asset-based lending, leveraged buy-out opportunities, and receivables financing.

Before RBA Capital, Mr. Groves was an investment analyst in the structured finance group at CapitalSource Finance, LLC. There he was responsible for due diligence, underwriting, and structuring rediscount lines of credit, with a primary focus on the real estate industry.

Mr. Groves holds a B.S.B.A. from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in Washington, DC.
